Cannot connect
- Vyzo Host must be running on the Mac (look for it in the menu bar) and the Mac must be awake.
- On the local network, the iPhone and the Mac must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Some guest or office networks block devices from seeing each other.
- Away from home, turn on Remote access in Vyzo Host's menu (it needs an invite code). The phone then connects through the relay automatically.
- If pairing was lost, pair again: scan the code shown by Vyzo Host.
Mac permissions
Grant these in System Settings, Privacy & Security, then restart Vyzo Host if asked:
- Screen Recording: required to show the screen.
- Accessibility: required for mouse, keyboard, window focus and the Actions tab.
- Local Network: required to accept connections from your phone.
- System Audio Recording: required only to hear the Mac's sound on your phone.
On the iPhone, allow Local Network access when asked (Settings, Privacy & Security, Local Network, Vyzo), and Camera for scanning the pairing code.
Blank or black screen
Check that the Mac's display is awake and that Screen Recording is allowed for Vyzo Host. Quit and reopen Vyzo Host after changing the permission.
Updates
Vyzo Host checks for updates daily. You can also choose "Check for Updates..." in its menu. The latest version is always at getvyzo.app/mac/latest.
